Arizona's Roof Consultant, LLC will:
- Compile and review of drawings and documentation pertaining to the roof system currently in place.
- Interview of facility maintenance members and engineers to gather information about problem areas, previous repair attempts, and maintenance procedures.
- Verify construction type and general condition of roof system, focusing on inspection of typical problem areas such as roof framing, cornice framing and parapet walls.
- Document roof drainage characteristics such as slope, quantity, condition, and location.
- Observe general appearance, surface conditions, and membrane characteristics of the roofing system.
- Take roof core samples for analysis of material and identification of asbestos.
- Compile photo documentation for future reference and use in construction documents.
- All data gathered in field survey is used to determine the quality of the roof's assembly, deficiencies and factors that have cause problems or might cause problems in the future.
